What Brings Us Hope?
A source of hope for me is collaboration with other ministers through the interplay of our different gifts, mutual support, and shared mission, especially around evangelization. Prominent among these people are not only our catechists and youth ministers but those who lead them. I am pleased to introduce Sandra Gutierrez, our new Director of Family Faith Formation. I also would like to introduce again Luis Ceja, our Youth and Confirmation Coordinator. He will also now be facilitating our parish’s accompaniment of those adults who are preparing to receive the Sacraments of Christian Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. I asked Sandra and Luis, “What do you see in your ministry that brings you hope, where are the signs of hope?”
