Super Selection Sunday
This weekend is not only Super Bowl Sunday but Super Selection Sunday! Months of community prayer, consultation, learning, and discernment have surfaced eleven outstanding people from whom eight will be chosen for our Parish Pastoral Council. Simply check three boxes on the selection form available at the tables outside the church doors this weekend and return them to the selection box or parish office by February 19th. You might also read more about each of the eleven before making your selection on our parish website (https://stjccm.org/parish-pastoral-council/) and on a bulletin board in the vestibule of the church. Parish Lenten Retreat
I will be giving a one-hour Parish Lenten Retreat, Return with All Your Heart, this Thursday, February 15th and Saturday, February 17th. Please see the full-page bulletin flyer for time and location. We will reflect on how Lent, a season of grace, can prepare us for Easter Glory. We can return to God through prayer, reach equilibrium within ourselves through fasting, and reconciliation within our community through alms-giving of the service of charity! See you Thursday or Saturday.
