Our Hopes
During this Jubilee Year of Hope, I asked some members of our faith community to share what brings them hope and what do they hope for.
Tell me about your family: My name is Hector Camacho, my wife is Johanni and my baby is Johanni Alessandra Camacho. We have been attending Saint Joachim Church since November 2022.
What brings you hope? Our hope is based on our faith in God, mainly that He provides everything in our lives, that love, health, and well-being come from God.
What do you hope for? As a family, we have hope and faith that we will continue to follow God’s guidance, that all our paths will always be good. I hope that humanity will undergo a radical change in its way of thinking, that the idea of having a family based on love and brotherly unity will be strengthened, so that we may be more sensitive in our charity and empathy towards our fellow human beings, loving our own and loving others. That was the message of our Lord Jesus.
