Fr. Robert is getting to know our parish families. Meet the McDonoughs!
How long have you been at Saint Joachim and what do you value/like most about the parish?
Vince returned to St. Joachim in 1996 after a long time away from active participation. Anna and Vince were married at St. Joachim February 29th, 2000. Vince has been a lector for the past 25 years and loves the opportunity to actively participate in the Mass. Vince and Anna are joyful and proud to be a part of St. Joachim, a diverse community full of individuals who value faith and family.
Tell us about your family; occupations, hobbies, pastimes … where and how you serve the parish/school.
Anna is self-employed as an event planner and Vince works as a technical support engineer for Toshiba. Vince and Anna enjoy travel, fishing, investing, and reading. Anna and Vince walk the Back Bay trail every day enjoying the natural setting while getting their exercise. Vince is a lifelong body surfer and waterman.
What difference does faith make in your life?
“Faith gives us the strength, patience, and serenity required to cope with our ever more secular and materialistic world. Faith is a gift from God that is a privilege to possess. Those who do not choose to have faith in their lives are really missing out. The power of prayer cannot be overstated!”
In Christ,
Rev. Robert P. Capone
